    About Scripture Camp 2017

73 Campers, 16 Preschoolers, 29 Junior Leaders  and 17 Adult Leaders (with some additional part-time helpers) all shared their faith and learned that “God Made Us”, “God is For Us”, God is Always With Us”, “God Will Always Love Us” and “God Made Us for a Reason.”

It was a truly informative and transformative week.  We sang, we crafted, we had Bible adventures, we played water games, we watched Chadder, we read from our Bibles and we snacked.

On Thursday’s night we had a Mass including three Camp songs and watched a slide show of the week’s activities.  On Sunday we shared a bit of Scripture Camp with the parish.  Two of our Sing & Play Leaders led our campers, preschoolers and Junior Leaders in our song You Forgive Me

Scripture Camp is an all-volunteer-run experience – we would love your help in 2018.  Please keep us in mind!  For information please contact scripturecamp@stcharlesparish.org.

Also our outreach effort collected around 30 new twin comforters or blankets and over $400 for Family Supportive Housing.

For thirty years, Family Supportive Housing has been helping homeless single- and two-parent families with children remain intact, while addressing their needs for food, shelter, employment and education. [They] offer families a respite, an opportunity to make life-altering changes, and a system to aid in finding permanent housing.”
