• To Serve As Jesus Did

All baptized and confirmed Christians receive a call as well as gifts from God enabling them to participate in ministry.  In the Catholic Church, lay ministers have long been assisting in the celebration of the Liturgy. They have been servers and musicians and choir members for centuries. Since Vatican II, lay ministers have participated by reading Scripture, reading the general petitions, and serving as extraordinary ministers of communion.

St. Charles Parish encourages all parishioners to pray about and discern which ministry is the one to which they are being called.  Training is provided for all ministries within the Parish.
