How to Volunteer

• Participate with other Vincentians in Home Visitations for the needy in San Carlos by delivering food or vouchers
  How often: One day per week, if called.
  Time commitment: 1 hour approximately; depends on the number of visits needed and type of need.

• Participate in Bundle Sunday, collecting clothing, toys, furniture, books, etc. for the needy in the community.
  How often: One time per year, at St Charles.
  Time commitment: 1 hour, either passing out collection bags or loading articles into the SVdP truck.

• Help with the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for St. Matthews in San Mateo.
  How often: Once per year in November, at St. Charles
  Time commitment: Up to the individual and the number of activities participating in. Anywhere from 1 hour to all day.

• Help with the annual Christmas Giving Tree event to support the HomelessHelpCenter, St. Francis and other needy organizations.
  How often: Once per year in December, at St. Charles
  Time commitment: Up to the individual and the number of activities participating in. As little as 1 hour.

• Attend a SVdP meeting and learn about other year-round opportunities.
  How often: Once per month, the 2nd Thursday at 7:00 at St. Charles, year-round.
  Time commitment: 90 minutes
