“Who has known the mind of the Lord?”
Through prayer our minds become better aligned with the mind of Christ and His will for us. If the Spirit is prompting you to know Christ as a priest, deacon, or in consecrated life, talk to your priest or contact the Archdiocesan Vocations Office at (415) 614-5683 or vocations@sfarch.org

Blessed are those who die in the Lord; let them rest from their labors, for their good deeds go with them.

SAINT CHARLES BORROMEO
St. Charles Borromeo (1538-1584) was the Archbishop of Milan and a Cardinal, as well as the Papal Secretary of State under Pope Pius IV. He was one of the drafters of the first Catechism of the Catholic Church, a leader of the Catholic Reformation, and an innovator of religious education, especially for children—establishing what is commonly known as "Sunday School."
He performed many works of charity and selflessly ministered to the sick during a serious outbreak of bubonic plague.
Saint Charles Borromeo is the patron saint of learning, the arts, and catechists--and, our Parish! His feast day is November 4th.
