St. Charles Annual Women's Retreat

"Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World"

For almost 20 years, women of St. Charles have been meeting at Vallombrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park for a weekend of faith enrichment, friendship and fun. The program begins with dinner Friday evening dinner and continues through Sunday after lunch. The program includes a Special Retreat Leader, Prayer and Reconciliation Services, Hospitality Evening and Sunday Mass. Delicious meals are prepared by the Vallombrosa staff, with comfortable and welcoming accommodations of two or single bed rooms. 

REGISTRATION:   

  • No registration will be considered complete without a $50 deposit and a completed   registration form (see right of page for downloadable form). The retreat fee, including meals & two nights stay, is $225 per person for a double room and $250 per person for a single room. The balance of payment is required by January 7, 2012 (see below).
  • If you are in need of a partial or full scholarship, please send a note with your registration form.
  • Make checks payable to St. Charles Church and mail to Lorie Boris at 1828 Carmelita Dr. San Carlos (650-593-7339).

 IMPORTANT DATES: 

  • Deposit is non-refundable after January 1, 2012
  • The balance of the payment is required by January 7, 2012. Balances not paid on time will be at risk of cancellation to allow space for waiting list applicants. Checks should be made payable to St. Charles Church.
  • Registration for non-parishioners starts January 1, 2012

  • Check in time is 5:00 Friday evening and check out is after lunch on Sunday.

 WHAT TO BRING: Basic necessities are provided like towels, sheets, pillows, blanket, all purpose shower soap etc. However, you must bring your own toiletries, hair dryer, shampoo/ conditioner, extra blanket, or other personal items you may need.
