Youth Sacristans

Youth Sacristan Program      

The Youth Sacristan Program employs high school young adults to assist the priests of our parish prepare the church for weekend masses. 

Responsibilities:

  • Opening the church before mass
  • Setting up the credence table with items needed by altar servers and eucharistic ministers
  • Putting the gifts (bread and wine) on the gifts table
  • Ensuring the church is prepared for the congregation attending the masses
  • Closing the church after masses. 

This is a great opportunity, especially for former altar servers, to continue their involvement in our church. Sacristans provide a valuable service in assisting our priests.
