The St Charles Parish Adult Choir

Have you ever thought about joining the Adult Choir here at St. Charles? This is a wonderful group of people who rehearse on Thursday nights (7:30 pm) and sing at the 11:00 Sunday mass. We perform an annual Christmas Concert and Ecumenical Choir Festival, and join with the assembly every Sunday to make a joyful noise! Won’t you join us? There is ample time off with good behavior! We are open to all.
The St Charles Parish Children’s Choir
(8:30 am Sunday Mass)
Did you know that this choir has been in existence for 16 years? This choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 in Church and sings at the 8:30 am Family/Children mass about once a month. We also participate in the Christmas Concert and the First Communions and generally have a good time. The children get to sing, listen, learn a little music theory and give me feedback on the music choices. (That is sometimes their favorite thing!) It is a great learning experience for the children. We are open to all children of the parish from 3rd grade on up; please join us!
Youth Ensemble
(5:00 pm Sunday Mass)
The Youth Ensemble will be celebrating its three year anniversary in September! We are open to high school and college students. This Mass is already youth based and youth run, and we would like to involve you in the music as well. We still need singers and instrumentalists. We have two great drummers and guitarists and 6 great singers and we are looking for more. We rehearse at 4:00 on Sundays right before the 5:00 Mass. Participation in this can be counted towards service hours.
